Tree Against Distant Hills

A page out of my sketchbook. We went ice-fishing and spent the day under brilliant sunshine on a wide open bay. This tree was a marker in one of the fishing holes, and while I waited for the fish to nibble, I became fascinated with the play of light and shadow in the branches. Every day a new image for the month of March.
