Snowy Birches

Snowy Birches  - an overnight accumulation

Source photo

This time of year, with the temperature hovering around the freezing mark, some precipitation falls as rain and some falls as snow. Rain and drizzle make for dreary weather, but November snow is a novelty and it's quite attractive to look at, so we put up with the inconvenience of slush and slippery conditions underfoot.

Thank you for taking the time to add your notes to each photo, they add such context and help me to connect with the details of each scene. ps This photo is gorgeous with or without the notes!!

Thanks! I think having a verbal description enhances the photo image, to help communicate my experience to a viewer. Meanwhile, I find that this scene is so quiet and still, and neutral in color, that it's just on the dull side of tranquil. Glad you like it.
